Close to Ayr, the Ayrshire Coast, Burns Country and the Southern Uplands, Auchenwynd CL caravan site has lovely views and excellent facilities. We pride ourselves on maintaining the site to the highest standards and our main objective is that you enjoy your stay with us.

All pitches are large with three hardstanding and two on grass, each pitch has an electric hookup and a free shower and wc are provided.

Auchenwynd is 9 miles from Ayr and 5 miles from the Ayrshire coast. The nearby town of Maybole and the surrounding area has a wide range of shops, restaurants and services. The area has many options for walking, cycling, golf, fishing and for exploring the fascinating history of the region. Maybole also has a main line railway station.

We have created Auchenwynd Caravan Club Certificated Location over the last year to the standards we look for when we are touring in our caravan. You will find the quality of the facilities on a par with Caravan Club main sites with the advantage of our peaceful location, large pitches and uncrowded site. There is also a barbecue beside a wooden picnic table, wc and free shower.

A drive-over, motorhome grey waste disposal point is on site. Recycling bins are provided. Our charges are £22 per night.

Nearby Maybole was the ancient capital of Carrick and the meeting place of Robert Burn’s mother and father and has many historical buildings including Maybole Castle dating from 1560 and still inhabited. On the outskirts, Crossraguel Abbey is one of the best preserved abbey ruins in Scotland. Culzean Castle and country park is a short drive away as is the Ayr coastline with it’s coastal path dotted with sandy beaches. The town of Ayr has a racecourse, theatre and all the opportunities for retail therapy. Robert Burns Birthplace Museum is also in Ayr. Of course the entire area is internationally famous for opportunites to play Golf.
